You may want to lose weight or become fitter. You may even want to travel the world. Whatever your dreams or goals, no matter how big or small, it is within your power to achieve them.

I was recently given a journal, THRIVE, which is available through Kikki K stores in Australia. Since January, I have been working through the journal, have undertaken a life audit to see where I am and where I want to be. Now, it is time to set some goals and dreams.
Many of us are guilty of not following through, or having the faith in ourselves to achieve more from life.
But all is not lost, as I share three easy tools you can incorporate into your life to get to where you want to be.
Set your intentions
This means setting your intentions for making things happen every day. Setting your intentions will keep you on track and help you to focus as you move forward.
One of my intentions is:
I choose to look after my mind, body and spirit by nurturing, exercising and making healthier lifestyle choices.
We are our own enemy
I'm guilty of saying 'if only' or 'but', and I'm sure many of you are, too. We need to try to stop using these words and replacing them with 'I can', reinforcing a more positive attitude to what we want from life. WE CAN ALL ACHIEVE WHAT WE WANT IF WE WANT IT BADLY ENOUGH.
You can't stay in one spot. We are all constantly changing, even if we don't realise it. Life is about growing, experiencing new things and moving out of your comfort zone. Age shouldn't be a factor.
Don't Compare Yourself to Others
Some of us have big dreams or goals, others just want to find their 'happy place' in life. There is quite a lot written about changing or rediscovering ourselves -- and I have written about these topics before.
However, we are all individuals and some of us are quite content with who we are - THAT IS FABULOUS! But for those who are still wanting more, then you need to just focus on what YOU want and not worry or compare yourself to others and their achievements. Success means different things to different people.
It is up to you. Will you stop saying 'one day' and just make it happen? You have the power to do it, so start making things happen for you.
