Empty nesters, let's hear your stories

About Maxine

Alright all of you empty nesters, how did you celebrate your new-found freedom? Let's get a conversation started.

After all those years of raising children at home full-time -- and with children flying the coop much later in life these days, thanks to insane property prices -- more parents are kicking up their heels in celebration when they finally win back their independence.

So tell us, were you one of those who celebrated?

Did you take an overseas trip, remodel the house, or finally go public with your lover?

Maybe you celebrated with a huge shopping spree and some cosmetic surgery.

Here at hotelnepal, we think this is a time in life to be embraced. So why not share your feelgood empty-nester stories?

The most inspiring, moving and humorous will be republished here next week.
